We currently have the following:
Silkies: Red, Partridge, Buff, Black&Blue, White
Both China and Japan claim the origin of these unique bantams and historians have
traced them back to Marco Polo. Their black skin and feathers that feel much like hair make them one of our most unusual varieties
of chickens. Our Silkies come both bearded and non-bearded and are tremendous setters on all types of eggs. Calm and gentle
disposition. A favorite breed choice for 4-H programs as well as shows. All of our silkie flocks contain bearded
and non bearded silkies, you may receive all bearded, all non-bearded, or both when ordering silkie eggs. A favorite of the
beginning flock owner due to small size and gentle disposition.

years ago they attracted attention because of their tall, upright bodies and their incredible reputation for egg-laying.Here's
a bird to make the hardest of heart laugh. A bowling pin on feet.Runner ducks were developed as egg-layers and can outproduce
any chicken in number of eggs laid per year. They had been found in the East Indies, from which they get their present
name, but were referred to as ‘Penguin Ducks’ by Dutch explorers and some of the early importers. We have rare

Blue Andalusians: These beautiful
blue fowl originated in Andalusia, a province of Spain, but have long been known in England and the United States. They are
magnificent to look at with their graceful, stately carriage and delicately blue-laced plumage; and this marks them as an
especially fine breed for exhibition. The blue color (in all blue breeds of poultry) is the result of heterozygous
blue that does not breed true. When a blue male is mated with blue females the result is in the following ratio: 1 black,
2 blue and 1 splash (white with blue cast). The only way to get 100% blue offspring is to mate a White Andalusian cock with
a Black Andalusian hen. Any blue variety ordered from Windwood Poultry may include white, black, blue or splash. One
of the most beautiful breeds of poultry.

are also strange in the fact that they do not quack, but make a hissing sound instead. Considered "The Meat Duck".Personality
wise the nicest, mellow and pleasant to be around; daftest; stupidest sense of humour and clever with it.... they communicate
ways to escape/steal extra food etc ... brilliant with dogs. We have rare and unique colors; solid gray, gray and white, blue,

really Ameraucanas, which are excellent, efficient producers of large eggs of many colors and shades including blue and green.
We have only kept hens that lay the blue, green, pink colors. Our grandchildrens favorite. We only have bearded varieties,
although a non bearded chick is a possibility. A variety of feather colors in our flock.
